In Loving Memory of Viola Monroe
July 10, 1946 – July 14, 2013

Viola Monroe was the heart of our family, a woman whose love knew no limits and whose sacrifices shaped the lives of those she nurtured. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, setting aside her own dreams of continuing childcare services to raise her grandchildren. She was our foundation—the glue that held us together.

Her gentle hands, always warm and comforting, reflected her giving spirit. She found joy in her garden, planting vibrant morning glories, her favorite flower, a symbol of resilience and renewal. Just as those flowers bloom anew each day, Viola’s love continues to flourish through Viola’s Haven—a sanctuary for survivors, a place of healing, hope, and transformation.

This safe haven is her legacy. A testament to the kindness she embodied, the strength she carried, and the selflessness with which she lived. Viola’s light will never fade; it shines on in the lives of those we serve.

With love and gratitude,
The Viola’s Haven Family
