Our Founder & Executive Director
Christina, the Executive Director of Viola’s Haven, is not only a dedicated advocate and caseworker but also a survivor of domestic violence. Her personal journey fuels her passion for supporting others as they navigate the path to healing and independence.
With over a decade of experience in human services, Christina holds an Associate in Applied Science in Human Services and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Phoenix, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. She is a certified Victim Service Provider through the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office and has received specialized training in strangulation awareness and emotional intelligence for teens.
As a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), Christina is recognized for her commitment to leadership and advocacy. Her lived experience, combined with her professional expertise, allows her to connect with survivors on a deep level and guide them toward empowerment.
Christina has worked extensively in case management, crisis intervention, and community outreach. She completed a 120-hour internship at the Family Justice Center, assisting victims of domestic violence with shelter services, life skills training, job search assistance, and housing support. She has also led human trafficking prevention and awareness workshops for teens, helping to educate and protect vulnerable populations.
Inspired by her grandmother’s legacy of selflessness, Christina founded Viola’s Haven to provide survivors with the support, resources, and hope they need to rebuild their lives. As Executive Director, she leads the organization with the belief that healing is possible, resilience is powerful, and every survivor deserves a future filled with safety and strength.
